The Lighthouse in Altoona, PA is the meeting place of a weekly men’s fellowship. Every Saturday 120 to 150 Christian men from churches from all over Altoona meet to fellowship, praise the Lord and to learn from His Word. God has been using The Lighthouse to bring Christian Men together to serve and advance His Kingdom.

Richard A. "Dick" Barr Sr., 69, Altoona, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, December 13, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Three minutes after his last breath there was a flash of light across the sky and the lights went out all over Altoona and in many surrounding areas. Our community had lost a bright light that shined for Jesus Christ.
